MY PHILOSOPHY:
You will never look back and say “I wish I celebrated less”.
I’m a certified interior designer by training, which means I see your day the way I’d see a room - the light, the layers, the way it all flows together. But I’m also the friend who’s always down for a party, so I balance the pretty stuff with the moving parts nobody wants to think about. Polished but effortless, designed but natural. That’s the whole point.
Studio McKee is female founded and proudly solo, so when you work with me, you get me - not a faceless agency or a checklist. I’m the calm in the chaos with big-sister energy and quick creative fixes, here in Kansas City and unflappable behind the scenes while you actually get to enjoy the moment.

My whole philosophy comes down to this: let it be easy, choose joy on purpose and never look back wishing you’d celebrated less. Your story sets the tone, I add the signature touch, and we build a plan that feels so you. No cookie-cutter plans here, no detail missed, just really good taste and a day you’ll soak all the way up.

FAVORITE HOBBIES?
Hosting anything with an excuse to set a table, curating playlists for every mood, and a good coffee run in the summer sun. Best of all is the time with Jay - my proudest title by far - and bonus points if there's a party at the end of it.
GO-TO COFFEE ORDER?
Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso all year round or a simple hot vanilla honey latte on days when ordering an iced drink is an absolute sin.
SUMMER VS WINTER?
Summer. No hesitation. No debate. 100%. Winter can keep its layers.
GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
Hands down, becoming Jay's mom. My favorite title, proudest moment and the most meaningful job I have ever done all wrapped into one tiny human.
